Chore services provide assistance to persons having difficulty with one or more essential activities of daily living: heavy housework, yardwork, sidewalk maintenance, home repair, etc.

Chore services in Sioux County are available using a voucher system. Sioux County residents, age 60 and older who are low (less than $1737 per month) to moderate (between $1692 and $2394 per month) income, may request compensation to assist them in paying for the cost of home repairs, heavy housework, yardwork, snow removal, etc. Recipients request this reimbursement in writing.
