Free Confidential STD Screening is available in Sioux City at the Siouxland District Health Department
Hours: 8:00 AM-3:30 PM, Monday thru Friday
Costs: FREE
Appointments are not necessary for males, it is first come first serve. Females are also welcome to walk in but, due to availability of clinicians, appointments are preferred.
Standard testing for STD’s includes chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis testing. HIV testing may also be offered. Visual examination for herpes (testing is available in many cases) and genital warts is also performed. Vaginal infections such as trichamonas, bacterial vaginosis, yeast infection are also checked for during female exams.
Treatment of chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis is available at SDHD at no charge.
